We have heard a rumor that Samsung will unveil their next flagship phone on March 14th in New York, and now the Galaxy S4 official release date is finally confirmed. According to MWC 2013 report from Edaily, the Korean website, Samsung's mobile division chief JK Shin said that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be introduced in New York on March 14th, it's the first time in last three years that Samsung unveil their flagship phone in US since the first Galaxy S event in 2010.
Here is Samsung's mobile chief comment reported by Edaily
"We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)... as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country,"
Samsung Galaxy S4 has been rumored to pack a 4.99-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and new camera feature, Samsung Orb technology. Samsung will start selling the first Galaxy S4 in Europe and Asia in April before release their flagship device in the US and Australia in May or June.
[Update] Samsung just tweeted and post an image of the Unpacked event on their Facebook page. The image shows that you can watch live event on Youtube at 7PM EST. Samsung also uses tagline "Ready 4 the show ?" which seem to suggest that Samsung will still use their traditional name on the next device.
